That is okay! We always have members that want to do a team event but don't have a teammate picked out. We can pair you up; that's how a lot of our winning pairs started out.
No! It definitely helps, but most of the events are pretty straight forward. Whatever you don't know, you can always Google during your prep time. Pick something that sounds fun!
No! DECA is great for any major. It helps you to improve your critical thinking and presentation skills.
Membership dues are $40 for the school year. This covers your state and national dues.
Travel costs vary each year. Typically, we aim to fundraise at least half of the state competition fee. This typically comes out to around $50. For international competition, we aim for our members to only pay for airfare and food.
Absolutely! We do so many other events, like tailgating and community service opportunities. It still looks great on a resume!
